All students of Freshart College automatically become members of the Students’ Union upon enrolment on a course. The Students’ Union represents the collective voice of the student body and plays an active role in enhancing the overall student experience at the College.

The Students’ Union initiates and supports student-led campaigns, events, and activities, encouraging engagement, collaboration, and a strong sense of community. Through these initiatives, the Union helps ensure that students make the most of their academic and social life at Freshart College and that their views, ideas, and concerns are heard and respected.

The Students’ Union is primarily run by students, fostering leadership, responsibility, and active participation. In addition, two designated members of staff work closely with the Union to facilitate effective communication between students and the College leadership team. These staff members support students in voicing their needs, contributing to decision-making processes, and developing meaningful enrichment activities.

The Students’ Union also assists in the organisation of cultural, educational, and recreational activities, including trips and visits, further enriching the student experience and promoting creativity, inclusion, and student well-being.
